Summer is a carousel,
Picking bluebells in the dell,
Sipping limeade in the shade,
Watching purple sunsets fade.
Summer is a firefly,
A brilliant sun up in the sky,
Ice cream trucks upon the street,
Hot dogs for a picnic treat.
Summer is a shady nook,
Wading in a shallow brook,
Looking for a shooting star,
Some say Summer's best by far!
