There's a little white church in the valley,
nearby where the still waters flow,
and where, in the beauty of springtime,
the colorful wildflowers grow.



A little white church with a steeple
in which hangs a golden-hued bell
that chimes out so sweetly each Sunday,
echoing all through the dell.



In this little white church in the valley,
there's a special rejoicing today;
for there in the beauty of springtime,
Easter is holding full sway.



Its spirit sets heartstrings to singing
this message of newness and life,
a truth that will keep on blooming
when past is this Eastertide.
