It's a lovely world wherever you look
From the sky of blue to the babbling brook,
The old rail fence that is quaint and dear
Mother Nature's charms since the autumn's here.
It's a precious world with it's gladness rare,
With this day sumpreme and the night so fair,
The sunshine bright on leaves of gold,
With hope and faith as the days unfold.
It's a charming old world with its smiles and tears,
With tomorrow's dreams that can banish fears;
A peaceful morn in the wake of the dawn
With a world of joy we can gaze upon.
It's a lovely old world, if we'd make it such,
And see the work of the Master's touch,
The smile of God as we go our way
In our hearts we know it's a lovely day.
